Anatomical Models
Thu Mar 1 19:54:04 2007A Word About Anatomical Models
If you need anatomical models to illustrate your client's case, we have the best. The models we offer are crafted by the artisans at Somso in Germany.
These models are recognized as being among the most realistic and life-like in the industry, and they are the quality typically used in fine medical schools.
Whether you need a full skeleton, articulated joints, or a specialty item like the "take-apart" model of the vertebrae with removable discs to demonstrate various types of herniation, we can rent them to you on a weekly basis or sell them to you.
If you need a model that we don’t have in stock, we typically have had special models shipped in within about a week. Many of our models rent for only $50 per week.
Architecture
Sat Aug 6 20:27:57 2005I have found that the key to successful architectural photography lies in finding the angle and the lighting that provide the most dramatic representation of the building.
While this can often be done during daylight hours, I have found that there is a “magic lighting” that occurs at twilight, when the sky still has some deep blue or purple tone, clouds may take on a red or orange hue, and all of the interior and exterior lights are on.
By this time of the evening, most other photographers have packed their equipment, and they are at home eating dinner, but I am getting my best shots at this hour.

Whether taking portraits, modeling portfolios, engagement photographs, family groups, proms & dances, dance studios, Sweet 16, quinceaños, a maternity portrait series, or yearbook photos; the main task is not about getting the right exposure or getting the image sharply focused. Any modern automatic camera can accomplish those tasks.
The real task involves interacting with people in a manner that makes them feel comfortable and at ease. If a person is not at ease in front of the camera, it will show in their expression.
Over the years, I have developed my skills at interaction to the point that I hear people say that they were never able to relax in front of the camera the way they could with me taking the photographs.
Part of this process is simply a matter of actually listening to people and finding out what is going to feel natural for them and not forcing them into a particular pose just because someone else used the pose and it worked for them
The second task is to find a lighting style that complements the subject.
Evidence Support

Do you need a magnetic exhibit board to demonstrate how a traffic accident occurred? Or maybe you need to have documents enlarged so you can control just where the jurors direct their attention.
We can enlarge individual documents to 30” x 40” and mount them on foamboard, or we can mount multiple documents on the same board for comparison or continuity.
If you need an easel with chart paper, dry erase markers, or a laser pointer (with advice on how to use it effectively) we can provide them either on a rental basis or for purchase.
